FUNDAMENTALS PROGRAM
CrossFit gyms have a fundamentals program to ensure that every new member starts their fitness journey with a solid foundation. These programs are designed to teach the basic movements, techniques, and terminology of CrossFit in a controlled and supportive environment. Here’s why Noraks Fundamentals Program is essential:
- Creating a Solid Foundation: Mastering the basics is key to long-term success in CrossFit. The fundamentals program ensures members have a strong base to build on, allowing them to progress more effectively in their fitness journey.
- Personalized Attention: Fundamentals sessions are typically one-on-one sessions with our trainers, allowing coaches to give more personalized attention to each member. This helps address individual needs, correct any issues early on, and tailor the experience to each person’s fitness level. - Building Confidence: For many, starting CrossFit can be intimidating. The fundamentals program gives new members the time and space to learn at their own pace, building their confidence before they join regular classes.

CROSSFIT GROUP CLASSES
Our daily 60-minute CrossFit classes are designed to provide a comprehensive fitness experience. Led by experienced coaches, each session begins with a thorough warm-up followed by targeted movement preparation and technique review.
We then transition into either a strength, skill and/or dynamic conditioning component, where you’ll have the opportunity to focus on building strength or mastering specific movements under the guidance of our coaches. This program, designed by our head coach will challenge and push you to new heights while your experiencing one of the best hours of your day.
Throughout the class, our coaches will provide valuable insights into the movements and the intention behind the daily WOD (workout of the day), empowering you with knowledge to maximize your performance and progress. At Norak CrossFit, our friendly coaches and supportive members are here to welcome you and assist you in navigating our facility, ensuring you feel comfortable and motivated every step of the way.

PERSONAL TRAINING AT NORAK
If you are not interested in group classes or would like to reap the benefits of group classes in conjunction with personal time with a trainer, we have a personal training program just for you. Our personal training program provides a comprehensive one on one approach to your fitness. It will be a completely personalized program tailored for you and your current fitness abilities. You will work with a coach one on one to address your health priorities and reach your fitness goals.

REMOTE COACHING / INDIVIDUAL DESIGN PROGRAMMING
Remote Coaching and Individual Programming Design allows you to customize your fitness program in accordance with your specific goals and priorities. With both options we tailor every aspect of your fitness experience, including the location of your training ground. This program can be used to prepare you for a competition, a specific sport or event, or to address a particular area of concern. At home, outdoors or in the gym we will design a program to take you where you want to go.

CROSSFIT LITE
CrossFit Lite offers it all, without the barbells and high skill gymnastics. In this is energetic, fun, coach led class our goal is to motivate you to reach a higher level of strength, stamina and conditioning. With the guidance of your coach, you will ease into movements by spending more time on modified versions of them. This allows you to control the intensity of your workout while still getting exactly what you need out of it. A coach will always be there to make sure you know what you are doing and are correctly performing movements & exercises.
Whether you are new to fitness, returning to fitness after a long break or looking for a change in your routine, this class is a great option for you! No previous training is required before joining this program.
MASTERS 55+ FITNESS
From warmup to cool down, this 60 minute class is 100% coach led. The Master’s Program is a strength and conditioning class specifically designed for older adults who want to stay active and maintain a positive relationship with their body as they age. These classes focus on true functional fitness. Our coaches will have a watchful eye over you to ensure safety, good movement quality and answer your questions. With consistent dedication of time and effort to this class you can expect to:
- Restore mobility and increase range of motion
- Build strength and muscle mass
- Increase and maintain bone density
- Improve balance and coordination
- Improve cardiovascular function
- Maintain independence and quality of life
Do not shy away by the term “strength and conditioning”. We will adjust the movements to your level of ability and progress you with your consent, when the time is right. You will build a relationship with our coaches that is comfortable and honest. We will always have your best interest in mind.

OLYMPIC LIFTING
The benefits of Olympic Lifting are well known, and proven to be one of the biggest factors at improving overall strength and fitness in any measure category. This 90 minute class focuses on developing technique, and improving execution of the two olympic lifts, the snatch and clean and jerk. By improving your strength and skill, you will add speed, power, coordination, agility and balance to your training. There is no extra fee for this class if you are a member of Norak CrossFit.
BOREALIS HEALTH
We provide everything you need to succeed through education, support and high levels of accountability. If you’re looking to move beyond an on-your-own app, meal template or unsustainable restrictive plan and try a high-touch program delivered by an experienced professional, this program will help you accomplish your goals.
We begin with a comprehensive 45-minute intake session online or in person. This includes a review of nutrition history and a discussion of goals, challenges and expectations. We design a personalized approach based on this intake.
Clients can expect:
● Macronutrient targets, or habits based goals and tracking through an interactive app.
● Weekly online check-ins through the app, including changes to targets (if needed), review of food journal/tracking app and goal setting for the week. Your coach will review your plan and provide strategies for success every week.
● 20-minute biweekly in person or online check-ins. Each session will include a review of metrics such as tape measurements, InBody scans, pictures, goals and overall progress report. This is done on an individual basis.(Online check-ins do not involve InBody scans.)
● Ongoing support. We will respond within 24 hours through the messaging app.
● Access to our app with additional recipes, blogs and interaction with Lifestyle coaches and other clients.
Cost: $200 + GST monthly recurring subscription (minimum 3-month commitment)
